We believe that future presentations will include more input from the audience. Everyone will be heard, people will go home enthusiastic and the organization will enrich themselves with more knowledge and experience. This is how we would like to introduce the plug-in to the world! Or as our vision says:

From student concept to the market leader!
Sendsteps was founded in 2008 by Steven Blom and Mike Coumans. Since 2001 they have been woring on, what at the time still was, a student-concept. They grew to what Sendsteps is today: market leader in mobile interaction during presentations.
During student parties, TXT messages were sent to a big screen. This became a success, but Blom and Coumans did not get enough satisfaction from the partying audience. Because with this technique they could indeed support other gatherings…?
Then they have got an idea. Blom and Coumans saw that during boring presentations the audience was hardly ever involved: one way communication from the speaker to the audience. The speaker usually provides the audience with too much information which doesn’t stay for too long in their mind.
We can do it differently: our mission!
Together with Rolf Jongeling, programmer at Sendsteps, three existing platforms were connected via simple software: PowerPoint, Internet and mobile telephone. It was the birth of the Sendsteps plug-in. Now everyone, during any presentation, can start the dialogue with the audience.
In the beginning, the audience could only react via TXT messaging. With the rise of the smart phones, Internet and Twitter became also useful tools to communicate. Therefore, in 2009 Internet and Twitter were added to the plug-in. In the last few years the plug-in continued to develop and different updates enabled more applications. With this our mission became more concrete: “Sendsteps will be used during all gatherings to facilitate the dialogue”!
