Join the debate during a panel conversation
During the panel conversation the audience decides the direction of the discussion. The chairman leads the conversation on the basis of a number of multiple choice questions. Every new theme, that’s being initiated by the chairman is preceded by a vote to first find out the audience’ opinion. The results serve as the input for the panel discussion.
Example of an organisation who has successfully used this concept: Winkelman & Van Hessen
Getting to know the opinion of stakeholders
After cost reductions, it appears that certain activities must be carried out in a different way. By conducting a number of polls, the organization can check the opinions of their stakeholders, and find out whether or not they agree with the proposed changes that result from a cost reduction. Because the audience can vote anonymously, the sensitive elements of a discussion can be tackled, leaving space for a clear focus on the factual content of the discussion.

Setup the event program together with your audience
Upon arrival delegates are being asked what they would like to hear or do later that meeting. This can be done plenary or, in a more condensed form, during breakup sessions or workshops. The break is used by the organization to browse through the ideas and to setup the onward program for the meeting. As such, the second part of the meeting is now fully catered to the likings of the audience.

A boardroom dialogue
The management team of Martinair replied to 30 multiple choice questions. These critical questions were related to company culture and strategy. The results were used as input for a three day management session. As such, the management session could start off fast and effectively which led to a satisfying end result. After the meeting everyone felt being heard.
