Steps

  1. Open the presentation in the editor.
  2. In the header, choose Present. A menu opens. Its title is Present. Under the title you see Go live with your audience, or practice without starting a session.
  3. Under Quick actions, choose Play. The live presentation opens.

How people join

This dialog opens when the presentation has questions and does not have a join slide yet.

The title is How should people join? Under it you see People answer the questions on their phones.

Choose Add a join slide. Under it you see Adds a slide with a QR code they can scan. A join slide is added, and the presentation opens.

Only if you share the code yourself

Choose Start without a join slide. Under it you see You can share the join code yourself. The presentation opens without a new join slide.

Only if this presentation already has answers

You see Previous results, then Continue with previous results?

The line says This session was already used. Continue on the same session, or start empty and keep the previous run as a past session in results.

Choose Continue session to keep the answers from the last run. The line under it says Keep the answers and continue this run.

Choose Start empty to begin again. The line under it says Save this run, then start fresh. The earlier answers stay as a past session in results.

If the session already uses personal codes, you also see Personal login codes are still required for this session. People still join with their own code. That stays in place for this session.

What you see

The slide fills the screen. People can join from their own device.

Press L. The panel Join this presentation opens. Point people to the QR code or the link. The steps for them are in Join a presentation.

Only if you want to practice

In the Present menu, choose Preview instead of Play. You go through the slides on your own. There is no live audience and no session.

If it does not work
