Steps

  1. In My Library, choose Import PPT.
  2. The title is Upload your powerpoint. You see Drag & drop your PowerPoint here and or browse for a .pptx file.
  3. Choose the .pptx file.
  4. While it converts, you may see Converting your deck... and Preparing your presentation workspace...
  5. The step is What are you going to do with your PowerPoint? Choose Give a presentation, Teach a class, or Run a quiz. Choose Next.
  6. The step is How should we use your slides? Choose Import as-is.
  7. The line says Open the editor with your converted slides only, no AI changes.
  8. The presentation opens in the editor.

This starts a new presentation from the file. To add chosen slides to a presentation you already have open, use Import slides from PowerPoint.

Only if My Library is empty

The button says Import PowerPoint.

The line says Turn an existing .pptx into an editable presentation.

Only if you want questions on the imported slides

On How should we use your slides?, choose Import and add interaction.

The line says Keep your converted slides in the deck, then plan polls, Q&A, or quiz extras on top, like a PowerPoint import with AI.

The steps after that follow Give a presentation, Teach a class, or Run a quiz. The last step is still Finish setup.
